Learn to play the Dorian Mode.
Dorian is the second mode of a major diatonic scale. It'great for improvising and comping on blues, jazz and funk material.
The track has a funky feel, but try improvising using blues type ideas. (You may notice that you can use a C minor Pentatonic over this groove).
The Dorian mode has the following scale steps:
Tone, 1/2, Tone, Tone, Tone, 1/2, Tone
Mode type: MINOR
Key of track: C Dorian (C, D, Eb, F, G, A, Bb)
Tempo of Track: 120bpm
Groove: Funk
Type of track: LOOP
